Symona Colina born in Ridderkerk the Netherlands in 1954.
Participated in a number of exhibitions in several countries;
the Netherlands, the United States, Italy, Spain, Belgium, England, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France ...
My work is like the wind, perceiving perspective. A perspective which touches and surrounds me, and in its essence forms the source of my work and sparkles in endless interfaces.

Artist Statement

A painting is like a window in a blind wall
"NOW"
...is that moment in which we fall into the deep end.
Holding a line of love and life in the palm of our hand.
Where one starts off with a point then follows the line… following the comprehensive wind…
As an artist, a visual artist I hold the brushes in a steady drumbeat to the canvas.
Touching the canvas, as lovers do.

Tumbling and falling into the never-ending profound blues ahead... following the burning desire to be united with the rainbow-colored tunes carried by the wind.
Songs of Freedom, songs of Ice and Fire... Songs to See...
I hold the horizon onto the tip of the brush, seeking brightness in the shades of life.
As an artist, a visual artist I read between the lines of perspective opening heart and mind to the boundaries of consciousness and perception.
Slipping through the doors of perception where time vanishes, finding a deeper awareness of the world and our place within it.

To see what cannot be heard...
A painting like a window in a blind wall.
A painting, a whisper in the wind.
A Door of Perception...
Looking twice at the empty bottle laid aside, no message can be found.
Wise words are spilled all over...
